Mamee Sllrrrp

Food again!!! But this time it's a budget meal, more suitable for a poor student like me :D Instant noodles~ These are what I left... 2 choices, between dry and soup Mamee Sllrrrp! and... I went for the 'goreng' Mamee.

Nonono, it's not just Mamee Sllrrrp alone. I have some eggs in my kitchen, but 1 is enough for me. It's soooooo easy if you have a microwave oven. Everything can be cooked~
I put in for 2 minutes. Perhaps less than 2 minutes is ok.
This is the outcome~ although it doesn't look nice but it taste ok :p

Now is the Mamee's turn. I try to do it in 3 minutes, but the noodles not 'soft' enough, so I put in for another 1 minute.Ok, noodles ready.
But this is 'goreng' Mamee Sllrrp la, don't need the water.
Add the seasonings and mix all together.

deng deng deng~ Magic eh? Thanks my friend for the additional sausage and seafood tofu~

Yummy yummy~~ really a nice and convenience supper at 130am~

Rakuzen @ Chulan Square

Do you eat to live or live to eat? Theoretically I'm eating to live, but in reality I'm living to eat. There is trade off in living to eat... Got it right? Yeah body size and weight :p My first blog on food will be on Rakuzen. I visited the Chulan Square branch, nearby Pavilion KL. There is buffet lunch on every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm, priced at RM55 per pax. This is not a self-service style of buffet, you need to place order, unlimited order until you get full. I booked 1 week before to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat, kiasu eh?

Rakuzen here I come~~ perhaps you will not notice this sign board of Rakuzen when you go, unless you park your car at the car park behind Rakuzen. RM3 per entry, it's worth so much than park your car at Pavilion.

The front view and main entrance of Rakuzen.

This is what I did, EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN~ How I wish I can eat everything in the menu. Oh, just a reminder, the menu for buffet lunch is different from the normal menu,

I like the creativity of the wasabi, like a green leaf. The taste of the wasabi is not as strong as in Sushi King.

Starter - Japanese Omelette (Atsuyaki Tamago), Crab Meat Mayonnaise (Kani Mayo), Seasoned Baby Octopus (Chuka Iidako) & Seasoned Jelly Fish (Chuka Kurage)
Agemono - Fried Soft Shell

Seasoned Baby Octopus
Did the famous Paul causes more octopus served on the table?

Roasted Eel (Unagi Kabayaki)
My favourite

Tempura Prawn (Ebi Tempura)

Makimono - Soft Shell Crab Roll (Spider Roll) & Prawn
Sashimi - Fresh Salmon (Sake) & Fresh Cuttlefish (Ika) -
Soft Shell Crab Handroll (Soft Shell Crab Temaki)

Salmon Handroll (Salmon Temaki)
Shouldn't have ordered this, too much rice and salmon can be ordered from sashimi.

Sushi - Fresh Salmon (Sake) & Unagi (Roasted Eel)

Fresh Salmon Sashimi.
Melts in the mouth~

Beef Teppanyaki
This pretty nice too~

Grilled Chicken (Chicken Teriyaki)
Order this only if you have tried all others, nothing special.

Toufu Tempura with Sauce (Agedashi Toufu)

Skewered Grill Mushroom (Shiitake)
This doesn't taste good, for me :p

Grilled Mackarel (Saba Shioyaki)

Burdock-simmer: Unagi (Yanagawa Nabe)

Green Tea Ice Cream
I love this. It tastes so nice, and not too sweet. I had a few couples of scoops of this.

Overall, this is a meal full of satisfaction. I made the right decision to try Rakuzen buffet, worth the price we paid for. I'll definitely come again, months later.
